Leadership & Bama

I'll leave the fact that I haven't started working on the Scott Report in earnest as yet. I need to be quite unlike me when it comes to that though I might point out that this is still miles ahead of many other people I've come across in the past. I'm talking about it before it needs doing. Rather than while or after. Anyway...
I've got to start speaking more about leadership because that's how one gets to lead. If all one ever talks about is video games, guess what one is likely to be. So although I am still niave enough to think that it is facetious to front as I might see it, even I probably wouldn't have confidence in someone who cannot speak to themselves in the role where they want to be or feel they are best suited.
So I see myself as a leader. Not because I am better than anyone else but because in the same way I constantly try to be better than I was yesterday I can aide those who want to improve while I in turn learn from them. What are my credentials in this respect? Fear does not lead me is one. I can tackle any problem and I tackle all problem by trying to find a solution that benefits everyone.
My sister and I left Trinidad to study abroad with no one to lean on besides ourselves at two different schools. We bought a car which I strove to repair myself by buying a manual. So these days I can change the front and rear brake pads shoes and wheel bearings, replace the alternator, spark plugs, distributor caps, fuel filters, air filters, rotate the tyres and more on my own. I've laid cement around the house, replaced the breaker cabinet etcetera etcetera. I've done all this partly because I'm frugal and partly because of the thrill of the challenge to do it.
I can lead because I am intelligent as evidenced by SAT scores that were better than many who went to Harvard, Princeton and Yale as well as being in the top 10% of people taking the exam that year and obtaining a 4yr tuition scholarship.
I am a leader because I publish a community newspaper which strives to present news and issues that affect the community and I encourage other to join me in doing the same.
Peace out
P.S. Perhaps leaders don't talk like this so perhaps I should front and say 'Sincerely F. Scott.' Next time. Obviously I didn't mention Bama. Sorry.
